In the dead of night a figure could be spotted flitting in and out of the light of a full moon. If one could look closely they would see a small lithe figure pure black but for her chest and paws where the white shown like lights dancing above ground. This is not the small helpless wolfling that had left her home in terror. No this is an Alphess in her full strength. Her strides show her confidence and joy of a long run.
Slowly Shaadowed Moon came to a stop and took a deep breath. Not a wolf's sent around, she thought with satisfaction. She stopped to stretch luxuriously reveling in the strength she felt. It's hard to believe that I was cast out for being weak. If only my brother could see me now, he would relay feel threatened." She laughed at the thought of her brother's surprised look when he saw her. With a sigh she broke her thoughts with a shake of her head and set off to find a den in her new domain.
[i] I can't wait to see this in daylight, Shaadowed Moon thought as she quested for the perfect spot. She found a small cave in the side of the ridge that was well hidden. In she went and curled into a ball to sleep. She was asleep before she could congratulate herself on her find.....
In the morning she was awoken by hunger pains. As she left the den she was greeted with a spectacular light show. With wide eyes she reluctantly obeyed her stomach's mutterings. After a short run she found a plump rabbit eating it's breakfast. She crept upon it soundlessly, when she got close the rabbit sensed her and took off but it's speed was no match for hers and she soon had her breakfast....
